Jay Z & Beyoncé Win Best International Group At 2019 BRIT Awards
Jay Z & Beyoncé Win Best International Group At 2019 BRIT Awards: Jay Z and Beyoncé were unable to attend the 2019 BRIT Awards at London’s O2 Arena yesterday, but they came through with an excellent acceptance video for their Best International Group honors.
The power couple appeared in front of a portrait of the Duchess Of Sussex Meghan Markle while their Everything Is Love song “APESHIT” served as the theme music. Beyoncé started things off by saying, “Thank you so much to the BRIT Awards for this incredible honor. You guys have always been so supportive. Everything is love, thank you.” Jay Z then chimed in with “You’re welcome” wearing a comical smirk on his face.
Bey and Hov weren’t the only ones to do well today as Drake took home the award for Best International Male, Nicki Minaj won British Artist Video Of The Year with Little Mix, and Ariana Grande grabbed Best International Female. Jorja Smith also locked in Best British Female Solo Artist on home turf.
Jay Z held an impressive Roc Nation brunch earlier this month during GRAMMY Awards weekend attended by Diddy, Meek Mill, 2 Chainz, Casanova, Jim Jones, and many others.
